Do you know what a living room size in your house is – or your friends /relatives house?
CAn you please measure if you don’t know and tell me?
how big is the house it self.
For a 2900 Sq Ft house what do you think is an ideal size?
Mine is 48 x 52, but may not be typical
my work is telling me that we are going on a 4 day week
i am litterally pooing my self
a few years ago i had insurance for this type of event but cancelled it when i got unwell and could not afford it, it was £80 per month and would pay mt mortgage if i got made redundant after the first 3 months of redundancy
we do not have children fortunately so at least i do not have to worry about a roof over their head
i never took it up again
at the same time me and my husband have no savings so do not have anyt money saved even for the first payment
my back up plan is if i loose my job i will work at doing anything, absolutely any thing

I’m already living plan B. I lost my job as a financial/loan manager at the bank I had been with for six years. I took my savings, moved to a new city and bought a styling salon because the beauty industry has always thrived in any economy. Now, after earning an MBA, I’m back in school.
What if you have an unlicensed gun in your house, that you bought off the street and someone is armed on your property and you shoot them? Can you still be charged with murder of some sort, even though it was self defense with your unlicensed gun? I’m just wondering and no, I do not plan on owning a gun. I hate guns. Thank you
Yes. You would be charged of illegally possessing an unlicensed firearm but not with the killing since it is done in self defense.
i need software that can let you create what the outside of your house will look like, and do the floor plans too.
i dont want it to be a bad software, i want it to be very easy and self explanitory. I just need the name of the software, so i can go buy it asap.
thank you very much!
Here ya go…

So, my best friend is a boy, and I’m a girl, and we are both in eighth grade. He wants to come over, but my mom is super strict when it comes to guys, and even though she knows him, she won’t let him in my room. So I was thinking and came up with a plan. My house is one story, and my screen less window looks out to the backyard, with a door next to it to the front yard. He could easily climb through the window, and my mom refuses to go in my room without me saying so. It seems like a good idea, but I’m scared to do it. We are best friends, NOT boyfriend and girlfriend. We wouldn’t be doing anything the slightest bit sexual, even kissing, I have a lot of self respect and I’m a virgin. We’d just watch movies and hang out. What do you think? Do you think it would work? Oh, and he only lives about 20 houses down from me, and his parents would think he is coming over to hang out. Please only serious answers…

4. Freedom to keep your existing plan
This is the freedom that the President keeps emphasizing. Yet the bills appear to say otherwise. It’s worth diving into the weeds — the territory where most pundits and politicians don’t seem to have ventured.
The legislation divides the insured into two main groups, and those two groups are treated differently with respect to their current plans. The first are employees covered by the Employee Retirement Security Act of 1974. ERISA regulates companies that are self-insured, meaning they pay claims out of their cash flow, and don’t have real insurance. Those are the GEs (GE, Fortune 500) and Time Warners (TWX, Fortune 500) and most other big companies.
The House bill states that employees covered by ERISA plans are “grandfathered.” Under ERISA, the plans can do pretty much what they want — they’re exempt from standard packages and community rating and can reward employees for healthy lifestyles even in restrictive states.
But read on.
The bill gives ERISA employers a five-year grace period when they can keep offering plans free from the restrictions of the “qualified” policies offered on the exchanges. But after five years, they would have to offer only approved plans, with the myriad rules we’ve already discussed. So for Americans in large corporations, “keeping your own plan” has a strict deadline. In five years, like it or not, you’ll get dumped into the exchange. As we’ll see, it could happen a lot earlier.
The outlook is worse for the second group. It encompasses employees who aren’t under ERISA but get actual insurance either on their own or through small businesses. After the legislation passes, all insurers that offer a wide range of plans to these employees will be forced to offer only “qualified” plans to new customers, via the exchanges.
The employees who got their coverage before the law goes into effect can keep their plans, but once again, there’s a catch. If the plan changes in any way — by altering co-pays, deductibles, or even switching coverage for this or that drug — the employee must drop out and shop through the exchange. Since these plans generally change their policies every year, it’s likely that millions of employees will lose their plans in 12 months.
Well I do, but try to tell a liberal that ! They follow Obama regardless of the facts !
well, I am getting prepare for January, when my husband and I decided that is time to look for a baby…. have you ever question yourself if is the right time in your life. I mean! I am ready and I want to have a baby (he is ready too) but economically I am scared! we both make good money… sometimes we do spend money in staff that we don’t really need, but once again I have no kids…. we also same money. Right now we rent, we are planning to buy something (house) next year, depends on the house market, right now is not the time for buy a house… I am scared, but I really want to be a mother, I know we will be great parents (we are very responsible people)
I dont think there is ever a RIGHT time to have a baby. You just need to say ‘right we want a baby lets just get on with it’ Everything else will fall into place. It is exciting and frightening all at once when having a baby, just enjoy it. Also just remember it might not happen straight away. These things happen in their own time. Good luck with it all.
I always do but I live in a high crime area.
What kind of plans do you come up with? would you arm yourself? flee the house? hole up in a locked room? confront them?
I would take my gun from the safe and lock myself in my study and call the police. as a side note in my country if I ever actually used my gun for self defense (even if i didn’t fire just threatened) they’d take it away from me, sport only, how crazy is that?
Definitely. I would pick up my clock and say to them “Don’t be alarmed.” They I’d bash them in the face while they still look puzzled.
Just kidding on that one (UK friend told me that when I asked the same question). But seriously I have had a couple of plans, especially since I am a one-level apartment dweller with only one door.
I own no firearms (I could, but I cannot afford one and I have nowhere to practice shooting). However, I have a little “ready bag” next to my bed. I can grab it and put on like fanny pack, or just grab items out of it. It has Pepper Foam, which is designed for indoors because it doesn’t splash or contaminate the room. I have my expandable baton, a very powerful flashlight with a strobe feature, a combat knife (my absolute last resort), and my spare mobile (911 works even with no service active).
I would probably try to lock the bedroom door, but I have to also lock the cut-through bathroom fast enough. This leaves the balcony as an escape route, which is a 12-foot drop. Truth be told though, my place is so small I’d probably give the intruder a face full of pepper before anything. It’s non-lethal and therefore I would never mentally hesitate.
I did chase a guy out once, though I’m not sure if he was a burglar or just a drunk with the wrong address because the door was unlocked. But I grabbed the closest thing to me. Apparently, there are few things scarier than a hairy guy in his briefs with a 6 foot leaf spear shouting obscenities.
I was told that if you have it in your 1st house (the house of the self) you probably start most of your written sentences with, “I think…”. So I checked a lot of my postings and found that to be absolutely true for me. Even now whenever I write something I always have to go back and take out the “I think…” part at the beginning.
Where is Mercury in your chart? Mine is in my 1st house in the sign of Capricorn. I love to read & talk about business and write business plans.
Hey JohnnyRocker, everyone has Mercury somewhere in their chart. That would be like saying you don’t have 7 o’clock on your watch. Mercury was in a particular sign at the time of your birth. If you have a birth chart done, it will tell you exactly where it is. Take your birth information to http://www.astro.com They do an excellent FREE chart and explain it all for you.
I have mercury in leo in the 9 house I belive.
So im gonna start taking this karate class right beside my house as soon as i can register
but im hearing alot online people saying you cant defend against multiple attackers its impossible no one can do it and all this shit
Well what if you practice at home with 2 or more training dummys i am planning to do that so i am ready for multiple attackers
and what if you have someone with you like a friend or girl friend then what just ditch them?
Obviously the person with you most likely isint going to be at your fit level i mean the majority of people today are obese and unfit so your gonna want to protect them
What do you guys think? im planning to practise with 2 or more training dummys everyday what about you guys
Mobility is king in many vs 1 situations where you are outnumbered. ALl you have to do is to keep changing your location and prevent them from surrounding you. A group is always in a sort of formation, where there is a left edge and a right edge. Choose one side and attack towards them, then pivot around forcing the group to follow you. If you are attacking the left and facing the left while you rotate to the left, the enemy group’s right wing is now in fact the farthest away from you, all the way behind the left and middle formation. So if you just keep doing this, they won’t be able to surround you.
To launch effective counter attacks while doing so, is a different, harder topic to cover.
As for protecting VIPs or escorting women, what you need to do is to grab their arm, hold it behind your back and tuck it in your other arm. This holds the person to your torso, so that when you move, they get pulled along. This is a way to communicate without the time lag of voice and the whole “what do you mean” or “I don’t get it”. People get it when they start getting hit, but that’s too late so you want to act way before then.
Practice drills require other people. You need to recognize how people move and then setup the right reactions to it. This obtains skill. Practicing against stationary targets won’t do much.
A good drill to test reaction results is to have 2 or 3 people try to grapple and tackle you, to prevent you from reaching an exit or goal. If you avoid them by going around them, you’re doing good. A more difficult drill is to keep circling around them as you launch attacks on them, not exiting or trying to escape. This is a more risky and difficult drill because it requires escape and offensive skills.
On the third level, you want to have 5 or 10 going after you, with the rules being that if they tackle you and immobilize you, you are dead, but if you land any kind of hit on one of them, they fall down to the floor for around 2 seconds, and then get up. This simulates quite well what a mixture of offense and defense will do to a multi man vs 1 situation. Always train harder than the scenario you are envisaging. So if you are worried about 2 or 3 people taking you down, train with 4 or 5 people attacking you. If you are worried about 5 people getting you, train against 10 people.
